Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

The health and safety of our patients and staff has always been of the highest importance to us at Middleborough Dental Care. Apart from the standard sterilising and hygiene protocols, we have increased the frequency of cleaning for high touch points in common areas.

Our locally based staff have been instructed not to come to work if they are experiencing flu-like symptoms or have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.

In a dental practice environment close contact between patients and staff is inevitable. The following decisions are based on the needs to protect all patients and staff in these challenging times.

If any of the following criteria relate to your personal circumstances, we ask that you postpone your dental treatment for the recommended 14-day period.

  1. Symptoms of COVID-19 – acute respiratory infection, cough, sore throat, fatigue and shortness of breath, with or without fever (high temperature).
  2. Close contact with a person with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19.
  3. Returning from overseas travel — all destinations.
